An addition to the Park's visual system: signage, theatre season and exhibition design.
Giving a contemporary voice to the most visited archaeological site in Italy, without ever betraying the ancient matter.
Kind of Blue signs some of the core image elements of the Pompeii Archaeological Park: an addition to the visual system that holds together the theatre season at the Teatro Grande, conferences, the events spread across the Park and the excavations, up to the exhibition designs.
The principle is one: the finds as protagonists. Faces, gestures, colours re-emerged from the dig become graphic sign, title, surface. Archaeology is not a decorative backdrop — it is the language.
From the theatre poster to the Casa del Tiaso installation, every medium speaks the same language: typographic rigour, Pompeian red, and the living presence of the find.
From the latest discoveries to wine in antiquity. Created for the BMTA — Mediterranean Exchange of Archaeological Tourism in Paestum 2025, the installation arranges the fresco fragments on the wall until they compose the very name of the site: POMPEII, written with the matter that tells the story. Title, find and sense of place, all at once.
Two classics by Aristophanes return to the Teatro Grande of the excavations, directed by Marco Martinelli, within the Sogno di Volare project. The poster turns the ancient mask and face into a contemporary image.
Music, sport, shared archaeology, childhood: the Park's public life, with the same visual alphabet — the fresco fragment — declined event by event.
An identity that lets the find speak, and brings it into the present.
